CAPTAINS REPORT:

Despite being 4-2 up at lunch after the foursomes were reduced to 9 holes, the singles matches had to be be played in fourballs due to course congestion.

After five hour rounds they finished with Gloucestershire taking the honours in what was a very frustrating day for everyone.

Four juniors were making their County 2nd Team debut and, despite their very tender ages, they performed extremely well.

They were a credit to themselves and the County.

It's clear that they've all got great futures ahead of them.
