On a fine and mainly sunny day and after a long journey the Worcestershire team put in a fine performance in winning the match 9 games to 6. The foursomes provided a good platform for us by winning three and a half to one and a half. The singles were very close and at times we imagined we might lose the match as the hilly course and the long journey seemed to affect some players. However in the closing holes we pulled back with some exciting golf winning three of the last four games to sneak the singles and gain the win we wanted. Well done boys it was a good match to watch. I am sure the parents present enjoyed the efforts of the players on a demanding course.
