Worcestershire’s 2010 County Card Scheme

 

The Scheme has expanded again this year to give fantastic value to the club members of those clubs taking part!

AS PART OF THE DRIVE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE COUNTY TEAM TO GO TO THE NATIONAL FINALS, UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER, THE PRICE OF A CARD WILL BE ONLY BE £10, VALID TO THE END OF FEBRUARY 2011

 

27 of our clubs now reciprocate, allowing you to visit 1000 other golf clubs in England

 

Gentlemen and Lady Members, including Juniors, of the 27 Clubs affiliated to the County Card Scheme, can purchase a 2010 Worcestershire County Card and then visit 1000 other Golf Clubs across England at a Reduced Green Fee

 

The cost to join the scheme is as follows:-

£15 for new members or renewals by post

£14 for members renewing their cards on-line

 

The information list of clubs and how to contact them is available free on-line. If you want a hard copy these are available for £1.

 

 

Where are the Clubs I can visit with the Worcestershire County Card?

 

There are 26 Worcestershire, 22 Bedfordshire, 65 Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, & Oxfordshire, 25 Cambridgeshire, 84 Cheshire, 32 Cumbria, 47 Devon, 27 Dorset, 27 Durham, 65 Essex, 42 Gloucestershire, 68 Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands, 31 Hertfordshire, 60 Kent, 19 Leicestershire & Rutland, 25 Middlesex, 16 Northamptonshire, 26 Northumberland, 23 Nottinghamshire, 31 Somerset,  32 Staffordshire, 74 Surrey, 55 Sussex, 33 Warwickshire, and 26 Wiltshire Golf Clubs in the 2010 Scheme who recognise the Worcestershire County Card.

 

Cheshire, Derbyshire, Devon, Durham, Northumberland are all new counties recognising our card this year.

When can I use the Worcestershire County Card?

 

2010 cards will be valid from date of issue until 31st March 2011.

 

How can I renew my card from a previous year?

  

THIS IS NOW VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD WITH A SECURE ON-LINE PROCESS!

For an extra £1 you can also order the Club contact information in hard copy. Click here to add this option.

 

No photographs, no cheques and no postage involved.

When checking out, just record your previous Card Number in the space provided

 

To renew by post  CLICK HERE by printing off and completing the PDF form, then send, together with a £10 cheque made out to "WUGC", to the County Secretary, address below.

 

Complete the renewal process, either way, and your 2010 card will be produced and sent to your Club Secretary for collection.

 

I am a member of one of the 27 Clubs above, and I would like to join the Scheme?

 

Application forms are available from this website or from your Club Secretary.

Send form, cheque and two passport photographs to the County Secretary.

 

All members of the 2010 Scheme will receive, via their club, a personal identity card with their name and photograph.

 

Conditions:

 

1.               Card Holders may play at least one round of golf at each of the participating Clubs until the end of March 2011.

2.               Play is normally restricted Monday to Friday (Public holidays are usually excluded). However some clubs do offer a weekend rate.

3.               Card Holders must telephone to confirm that it is convenient to play on a particular day before visiting another Club.

4.               Card Holders must be members of participating Worcestershire Clubs.

5.               The Card is not transferable and can only be used by the purchaser; it must be produced on arrival at the Club being visited.

6.               If you wish to play more than one round on the day, please check with the Club that this is permissible, and what the additional cost will be.

7.               Card Holders must have a C.O.N.G.U. Handicap, there is no age restriction.

8.               The Card cannot be used in conjunction with a Golf Society, Team or Organised Party unless the Club being visited has given prior agreement.

9.               The Scheme Rules may vary slightly in other Counties, please check when booking.
