So you think you're fit to play golf?

Kings Norton Golf Club - Thursday 17th November 2011

A very inspiring talk was given by Paul Darby, ably assisted by Rachel Darby,  to a mixed audience of around 60 boys, girls, County players and PGA Professionals.

It was clear that having a poor level of physical conditioning, particularly with the levels of flexibility required in the key muscle groups, will not improve your performance, no matter how many lessons you have. Physical conditioning is now accepted as a vital ingredient amongst the best amateurs and professionals in order to maximise power and control.

Paul demonstrated how his player profiling and related exercise programme can bring about much improved posture, balance and control to your golf swing. Three 'willing' volunteers were put through the initial profiling tests in front of a captivated audience, with surprising results.

If you wish to take your game to the highest level it's important to have a Physical Profile completed, followed by a bespoke exercise programme. Paul and Rachel are able to provide this service and Graham Farr ( County Head Coach) is booking Paul to attend the Junior Coaching Squad sessions as part of their development programme. Work with the 1st and 2nd Team players is also being planned.
