2009 Season.

County President adds Senior Champion to his list

Peter Adams 74, became Senior Champion at Kidderminster on Wednesday 23rd September. A steady round with 3 birdies saw him end up two over par.

He beat defending Champion, Charles Smith, by one stroke, despite a valiant 3 - 3 eagle - birdie finish, who took the runner-up prize on count-back

In third place another new-boy, Chris Lowry, also on 75, took the Best Gross in his age group from Wil Painter, also on 75.

The Best Nett on the day, winning the Denis Hayes Salver, was Brian Cooper, 78 - 9 =69. The Nett Runner-Up was David Glover 76 - 5 =71.

Played in perfect conditions on a well presented course that demanded accuracy to avoid penalties.
