    WORCESTERSHIRE SENIOR MEN’S 32nd COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP 2011

5.      Entrance fees will not be refunded in the event of an entrant having to withdraw after the closing date except for those entrants who may be balloted out and who do not subsequently compete.

6.      Committee: Entries shall be subject to the approval of the Championship Committee, which reserves the right to accept or refuse, or having accepted, subsequently reject any entry without giving reason for its decision.

7.      The decisions of the Championship Committee or its delegated officers shall, in all matters be final.

8.      Handicap and Qualifications: Only amateur male members of Golf Clubs affiliated to the Worcestershire Union of Golf Clubs, and over 55 on the day of the competition may enter. There is a handicap limit of EIGHTEEN or better to enter, but entries will be restricted to the 100 lowest EXACT HANDICAP players, with a ballot on ties if necessary.

       However, if an entrant has played at the Union Meeting of any other County, or has represented any other County, since 1^st October 2010, then he is not eligible to compete at this meeting.

9.    Ties:

a)        In the event of a tie for the Championship there will be an immediate play-off over holes nominated by the Championship Committee. In the event of a further tie, play will continue over the same holes on a sudden death basis.

b)        For all other prizes the competitor with the better or best score over the last 9, 6, 3 or final hole will be declared the winner. A player may only win one prize.

10.    Transportation.  A player shall walk at all times during a stipulated round.  Caddies are permitted. Buggies are not permitted, unless a player is Disabled, as defined by Disability Discrimination Law.

11.  Matchplay Championship qualification.

The first 8 Gross players will play in the Worcestershire Senior Men’s Matchplay Championship.

12.  Jackets and ties will be worn in the clubhouse by all competitors, following play.
